Accessibility statement
This site should be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or no mouse at all. Where it falls short, we would like to hear about it.
Recharge Desk aims to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria across every page, in both English and Arabic, and in both the light and dark colour schemes.
What has been built in
- A skip link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements, never removed without a replacement.
- Text and interface colours checked for AA contrast in light and dark schemes.
- Form fields with real labels, inline error messages and
aria-liveannouncements on submission. - Touch targets of at least 48 pixels on buttons and amount selectors.
- Headings in order, landmarks for navigation and main content, and tables with captions.
- Layout that reflows to 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced-motion support: transitions are suppressed when the system asks for it.
- Latin text, phone numbers and amounts isolated for correct rendering inside Arabic right-to-left pages.
Known limitations
The site relies on JavaScript for the mobile menu, the expanding questions and form validation. With scripting disabled the content remains readable and every page stays reachable through the footer links, but those interactive parts will not respond. If you need to send a request without scripting, call or email the desk instead.
Telling us about a problem
If part of this site blocks you, write to support@dubairechargedesk.org or call +971 4 512 7840. Describe the page and what happened, and include the assistive technology you use if that is relevant. We aim to reply within one working day and to fix genuine barriers rather than explain them away.
Alternatives to the forms
Anything that can be done through a form on this site can also be done by phone, by email or over WhatsApp during desk hours. No part of the service requires you to use the website.
